2019 Fall Project
At the beginning of the school year we used the 2013 FTC challenge, Block Party!, to simulate a build season. Students broke off into teams and built robots to complete different tasks, such as collecting blocks or parking in allotted areas to earn points. This project allowed new members to experience the different roles in robotics and help them get to know other members. Because of this, students became more comfortable and were able to make more contributions in the spring due to their acquired knowledge.

2020 FRC Season “Infinite Recharge” - Ft. Red
For this FRC season, teams had the option of gaining points by shooting through a low goal or high goal. Once a certain amount of points were earned, we were then given the task of turning a control panel to match certain conditions and hanging or balancing on a bar at the end of the round. Instead of focusing on scoring high goals, our robot focuses on consistently scoring low goals, which is more efficient. Our robot also features an extension that can be used to turn the control panel once we have scored enough points.
